This entire series of “You Said It” posts are based on the premise that the Bible is true, that the Bible is ultimate truth. God said it, therefore, it is true.
The concept is both counter-cultural, and generally offensive. But it’s also foundational, an anchor when nothing else holds firm. It’s life-giving, igniting purpose and fulfillment for us. It’s hopeful, when the world around us falls apart. And ultimately, it is what it is. Truth stands alone when it is true.
